I am a grandmother to 3 and great aunt to three (who might as well be grandchildren)
Their ages are 9, 8, 7, 6, 4 and 9 mths.

I am also a great aunt to two more, a niece and a nephew, that are new to our family! I have been so blessed. These are just the ones close to me. I have so many more nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. I can’t list them all.

I have my most wonderful moments when I am with them.

I love God, my church and of course my kids that gave me these wonderful grandchildren. I adore my kids. The older I get, I think I see my kids as adults better and I am enjoying them more. They are fun to be around and I love them with all my heart. I fully enjoy, watching my kids be friends, now as adults. It’s so neat to watch them interact as adults.

However, what I see now, is that they are so capable of handling their own lives!!! WOW!!!

If only I could have been able to see that at 16 :) We would have had a lot of less trials in our lives!!!

I am 48 years old, and permanently disabled.

So you may read anything here from what’s going on with the grandkids to how I feel at the time.

I do my best to try to focus on the positive and live by this verse
“In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct they paths” Prov 3:5-6

There is no way I could get up daily without God in my life and guiding me to do the right thing. I pray daily that he will use me to help my grandchildren grow and keep Him as the forefront of their lives.

I’m struggling to be a Titus 2 woman and it is a struggle for me because I am a very type A personality. I want things when I want it.

Titus 2 (HSCB)

Sound Teaching

1 But you must speak what is consistent with sound teaching. 2 Older men are to be self-controlled, worthy of respect, sensible, and sound in faith, love, and endurance. 3 In the same way, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not addicted to much wine. [They are] to teach what is good, 4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be sensible, pure, good homemakers, and submissive to their husbands, so that God’s message will not be slandered.

6 Likewise, encourage the young men to be sensible 7 about everything. Set an example of good works yourself, with integrity and dignity in your teaching. 8 Your message is to be sound beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be ashamed, having nothing bad to say about us.

9 Slaves are to be submissive to their masters in everything, and to be well-pleasing, not talking back 10 or stealing, but demonstrating utter faithfulness, so that they may adorn the teaching of God our Savior in everything.

11 For the grace of God has appeared, with salvation for all people,12 instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. 14 He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a special people, eager to do good works.

15 Say these things, and encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard [c] you.

My life is changing and I am totally, intentionally trying to focus my life on prayer and devotion and leading an intention, purposeful life for God.
Living intentionally, is something that you have to take one day, one hour, one minute at a time, because we wake up each morning in sin.
You choose to sin each day.
While, you may never purposely try to sin, you do, I do, we all do.
Intentional Walk, Intentional Prayer, Intentional Faith.
Those are things to live for daily, and when you do, there is no way you can miss living a life in God. For God!
