Love And Everything With it

My Advice for you and those you love

This all comes from 52 years of learning the hard way  Let my bumps, bruises, trials and failures be your lessons of what works and what doesn’t work in my opinion.

God has blessed me with an incredible way of saying I love you.  That comes with saying I’m sorry.

Below you will find a few things that I have learned and try to live by  I am a work in progress.

I am not a bad person, God says I am a valued child of His.

I have to apologize,  I have to be humble, I have to respect no matter what, and when I fail in these things, then well, I have to make it up to that person, whether I talk to them in person, write them a letter, or if I tell God *(which sometimes you have to do)

Matthew 6:14-15 ESV For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Ephesians 1:7  ESV  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,-

This is me, in several “so-called relationships now.
I don’t hold grudges. I just don’t have time for selfish petty people any more.
Yes I make mistakes, I defend my place, I CAN be proven wrong and I will apologize.

These things make me human. These things make me caring. These things make me vulnerable.
Just because I disagree with you doesn’t mean I will shut you out.
However when you start playing petty games and acting like a two-year old? That’s when I start shutting you out.
Sorry not sorry that people can’t just act like adults (that goes for me too) and then be an adult and apologize.
Life is way to short for toxic people or situations.
Here’s ten life rules to follow that help make my life so much easier:

1. Pray. There really is no explanation needed here.
2. Believe in God. Without him, you have nothing!! He is everything. He is my all in all. I know that I can do anything as long as I have Him on my side. God is amazing and awesome and well everything!!
3. Love fiercely. Everyone gives you the reference of 1 Corinthians 13 when it comes to love, however, my favorite verse about love is this John 3:16. That is the grandest love story in the Bible in my opinion
4. Keep your relationships healthy, those you value are extremely precious. I’m not talking about relationships with the people you love, that should come naturally. I’m talking about relationships in general. “BE healthy” in relationships with businesses, with organizations. In the corporate world, the most important people in that business are not the CEO and the Corporate Board. They are the Janitor and the Cleaning Staff. Important relationships I can think of in my life, without family in the mix, my trash guys, my mailman, the manager of the Sonic I go to everyday. The person that answers the phone at my doctor’s office. Those kinds of relationships are the ones I’m talking about. Those relationships will serve you well, very well in life. Value them.
5. Apologize when necessary. Saying “I’m sorry” are two words that can heal generations. I am serious here. There are words you can say that will help, these two words are mighty. However, they can be overused. Saying I’m sorry without changing isn’t going to gain you any favors. What it is going to do, is make people not trust you, make people not care about your sorry’s . They won’t believe it.
6. Always say I’m sorry” first. Never be too proud to stand up and say, Hey, I shouldn’t have said, done, or acted that way. I’m very sorry and I make no excuses. I’m sorry, can you forgive me. If they say no, accept it and know in your heart, if you are serious, you’ve done all you can do.
7. JUST because someone else does it, doesn’t make it right. Tit for Tat is one of the most incredulous, and selfish things you can do in a relationship. It is also harmful. If another person is trying to tell you about their day, yours doesn’t need to be better, or worse. Maybe they need you just to listen.
8. When you make mistakes, be humble. VERY humble. Making a mistake isn’t failure. It means you really are human!! Every single day I/you/me/we are setting yourself up for failure if you live a life of trying to be perfect. Perfectionism, is a flaw. A very dubious personality flaw. I’m a very good example. I do not try to be a perfectionist at everything. However, there are somethings that I want to be perfect at. I’m not, I get that. I know that. I still try, and in doing so, I jeopardize relationships. Perfectionism is MY character flaw, and my life to live (because of that particular character flaw I have), how dare I ever put that on someone else.
9. Give back. No one likes someone who is selfish. That doesn’t mean go broke giving, or to give all of your time. You must have time for yourself also that’s not selfish. That’s survival at its finest. Even as a parent, you must take time for yourself. If you are not rested, mentally, physically, and spiritually, how do you expect your child to be?
10. Have some semblance of organization. This is CERTAINLY not last on the list but is one of the most important. Go here and you can find some of the ways I organize our life. Even organize chaos is better than no organization at all.  You can read my thoughts on organization here

and a bonus, Be Thankful for EVERYTHING, good and bad, no matter what.  You can read my feelings on that here.

Five Minute Friday – Exhale

Exhale emit breath or vapor; breathe out.
2. to pass off as vapor; pass off as an effluence. verb (used with object), ex·haled, ex·hal·ing.
3.  to breathe out; emit (air, vapor, soundetc.): to exhale a sigh.
4.  to give off as vapor: The engine exhaled steam.
5.  to draw out as a vapor or effluence; evaporate

Whew….hmmm…..ahhhh… no matter how you do it, exhale relieves the carbon dioxide from your body.  In other words, poisons.

and equating that with exhaling, when you breathe, good goes in, bad goes out, so relieving yourself of all the toxins, is a great thing.  Required to live and required to get through a day.

So expunging poison from your body, like sin, is a way to cleanse your soul.  When you ask God in your heart,, he expunged satan from your heart.  Your want to only take in good things should prevalent in your soul, good friends, good reading, good TV, good websites, great music

Those things don’t come naturally though.  Because of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, we are born sinful.  Every Day, the first breath you take each morning, you sin….

Isn’t it incredible that we have a Lord and Savior that can take away that sin.  He collects our tears, he washes us clean,..  By reading His word, we have a guide to be able to live a life that has the ending of the lifetime.

have you read Revelations?  Have you read the Bible?

I am going through the Bible this year and have been so blessed to reread things and really understand what He is talking about, because my faith is stronger, I understand.  To me, that gives me so much joy that I actually “know” what it’s saying

He tells us not to worry, not to fret, not to be prideful and to let Him guide your life.  In doing so, you can EXHALE and rejoice in the truth, that God sits in Heaven and will be coming back for us one day!!!

Five Minute Friday

Five Minute Friday

this is from Lisa-Jo Baker’s Blog that explains FMF)
So, here’s the skinny: every Friday for going on four years now hundreds of people have joined a kind of writing flash mob over here.
We write for five minutes flat. All on the same prompt that I post here at 1 minute past midnight EST ever Friday. And we connect on Twitter with the #FMFParty (It stands for Five Minute Friday Party).
No extreme editing; no worrying about perfect grammar, font, or punctuation.
Unscripted. Unedited. Real.
It started because I’d been thinking about writing and how often our perfectionism gets in the way of our words. And I figured, why not take 5 minutes and see what comes out: not a perfect post, not a profound post, just five minutes of focused writing.
So now on Fridays a group of people who love to throw caution to the wind and just write without worrying if it’s just right gather to share what five minutes buys them. Just five minutes.
Your words. This shared feast. It’s easy to join in, just:
Check what the prompt is on my Lisa Jo Baker’s Blog.
Write a post in only five minutes on that topic on your blog.
{And if you don’t have a blog, no worries! Just leave your writing as a comment on my post} Link over to Lisa’s blog and invite friends to join in. Select the permalink to your post {so not your blog url but your post url } Using the blue linky tool at the bottom of Lisa’ Five Minute Friday post enter your link. It will also walk you through selecting which photo you want to show up in the linky. Your post will show up in our Five Minute Friday linky. Be sure and encourage the person who linked up before you!
Our most important requirement for participation: There’s really only one absolute, no ifs, ands or buts about it
Five Minute Friday rule: you must visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community

The enemy Will NOT win

Today has been one of those days where it seems like the enemy is doing everything he can to keep from

sharing/showing God Not going into detail bit let’s just say

You are NOT mightier than my God

You are NOT mightier than my faith and

You are NOT mightier than my marriage

Thank you so much God for helping me stand firm and sid in your preaence. Help me continue on a path

of being a passionate follower of you

A true follower of you

I know I am redeemed and I just cry out to you for you to fill me up with your spirit

Satan’s lies are powerful, but God’s truth is even stronger.

My prayer is this: on the days when you feel unlovable and ugly and you doubt why anyone would want you… those days when you feel like a failure as a mom or a wife… the days when you can’t get your finances in order and your checkbook just won’t balance… the days when your past slinks up beside you and reminds you of people who have hated you or laughed at you… the days when your friends have stopped calling or are too busy to notice you… the days when someone does something horrible to you and takes advantage of you… or the nights when you can’t sleep because you don’t know what tomorrow brings and you’re afraid of really screwing up…

On those days? Come back to these truths. Read them out loud if you have to, no matter how silly you feel doing so. Remind yourself that your worth does NOT lie in your friends or your finances or your marriage or your past. You are worthy of being loved just because of His love for you. Above all else, you are His. Never forget.

My Crappy Attitude

My attitude lately has really stunk lately….

on top of being on either bed rest or in a boot all summer long, in just the past 2 wks, I have

had horrible lab test results of off the wall testing

my truck burned

messed up immensely on paying a bill

had my iPhone charger caught on fire

lost my hotspot

got into a car that I am terrified about paying off

As well as the fact that my son leaves monday and I have no clue when I will see him again.

and who knows what else.  All in all, it’s just been a “no good very bad FEW days” (remember the book, Alexander and the Terrible, horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day)

Well, that book fits my life now

isn’t it amazing how much God blesses us with this minuscule things that just push us so far…  God gives us these things, just for the plain and simple reason so that we will KNOW to thank HIM, to seek HIM, that he will hide our tears in his hand.   God is always there to protect us and to hold our hands, our hearts and our tears.  He forgives us for not seeking Him first.  like the rain/sunshine, etc, t the important things like cars, or babies..remember to thank Him when you get the hard realities in your life.

Thank you Sweet Jesus for letting me realize just how much I need you.  That no matter what, i know in my heart that you love me and that you are my protector, my collector of tears.

Thank you for giving me all the blessings you have especially when I never deserve them!

In My Weariness….

how much is enough?

when you get weary, oh so weary –
what do you do?

do you pull the covers over your head?
call a friend?
cry out to Jesus?

I’ve been known to do the first two quite often. That show in my daily life –

                     with –

                          more –

                                 weariness –

until I learn to cry out to Jesus first, my weariness will continue and worsen. it is a toe-hold the enemy gets into my lfe

then it shows up in my daily life also. whether it is in how i act towards my husband, how i interact with my grand-kids, how my friends and family see me.
it doesn’t matter, it all revolves around my weariness and how i deal with it.

i thank GOD – for that weariness, so I can look deeper unto HIM.

when i cry out to HIM, HE hears!

I sought the Lord and HE answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:7

isn’t that an AMAZING PROMISE that HE gives us?

“…deliver me from all my fears

so my spiritual goal is to try and turn to HIM first –

i want to be on my face with the heart of GOD!

Let the peace of CHRIST rule in your hearts. Colosians 3:15a

Dear Jesus,
i thank you LORD for YOUR loving heart.  i praise YOU for the SON, YOU gave, to die on the cross, for my weariness. I want to go deeper  turn to you first –I ask for your direction in knowing YOU deeper. it IS all about YOU!  as i leave here today, YOU know everyone’s heart, their needs – protect them, guide them, keep them wrapped in your arms! i love YOU so much LORD – amen

Be still before the LORD.

and wait patiently for HIM.

do not fret when people

succeed in their ways

when they carry out their

 wicked schemes – Psalm 37:7
